This year, we are enhancing Telangana’s Grandest Medical Conference by introducing a hands-on Surgical Skills Workshop. This workshop aims to provide undergraduate students, especially those from peripheral areas of Telangana, with an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience in essential surgical skills.

Rules & Format
This year, we are enhancing Telangana’s Grandest Medical Conference by introducing a hands-on Surgical Skills Workshop. This workshop aims to provide undergraduate students, especially those from peripheral areas of Telangana, with an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience in essential surgical skills.
OUR AIM
- To offer an immersive and comprehensive workshop experience that includes practical applications of surgical techniques.
- To ensure the workshop is structured in an easy-to-understand format, catering to the learning pace of undergraduate students.
- To keep the workshop affordable, ensuring that a wider number of participants can benefit from it.

- Introduction to Operation Theatres Etiquettes
- Familiarization with Surgical Equipment
- Surgical Blades
- IV lines
- Surgical Drains
- Understanding Trauma Management
- SUTURING SKILLS
- Types of Sutures
- Types of Knots
- 3. PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
- Laparoscopic Skills (If feasible)
DURATION:
- 2-3 hours
WALKTHROUGH:
The workshop participants will be grouped into teams of 2 or 3 members depending on the number of registrations. This arrangement will foster teamwork and speed up the learning curve of the participants. The instructor will be given a table with all the instruments, tools etc. with a camera stand focused on his hands and screen behind so that whatever is being performed is displayed behind to ensure clarity in demonstration. Participants will be given a PREWORKSHOP questionnaire before the initiation of the session and after the workshop ends a POSTWORKSHOP questionnaire will be given. This way participants can SELF-ASSESS the gain in their knowledge.
