📄 UG Paper Presentation – Guidelines & Information



Eligibility

Undergraduate, interns, post-interns of MBBS/BDS students from MCI/NMC recognized medical/dental colleges.

Each delegate can submit one abstract only.

If abstract is not selected for oral paper, it can be presented as a poster under research category.


Study must be within the scope of healthcare and allied healthcare.


Mandatory Requirements

Ethical Committee Approval Certificate / Attestation from Head of Institution (mandatory except for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses).

If used in study, submit along with abstract:

Informed consent form

Study questionnaire

Case study form



Submission Rules

Individual or team of maximum 2 members.

Only main author presents orally, both may answer Q&A.

All abstracts undergo screening by senior faculty.

Only selected abstracts are allowed oral presentation; others may be posters.

Screening committee decision is final.

Selected candidates will be informed via mail.

Presentation must be PowerPoint (max 17 slides).

Presentation file must be submitted by last date: ______.

Total time: 9 minutes (6 min presentation + 3 min Q&A).

Mode of presentation: Offline at Kakatiya Medical College.

PG Paper Presentation Rules

  • REGISTRATION RULES
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - Open to all postgraduate students of medical and allied health
    sciences recognised by the Indian medical association
    ● Only Individual Entries are allowed.
    ● The study must be in the scope of healthcare and allied healthcare subjects.
    ● The research article must be an Original research conducted by the participant who must
    be an author with substantial contribution to the study.
    ● Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis will also be accepted, along with clinical studies.
    ● The research must be completed at the time of submission of the abstract.
    ● The Ethical Committee approval certificate\ Attestation from the head of the institute
    must be submitted along with the abstract and is mandatory for all submissions (except
    for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses).
    ● Any creation of false articles/ plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
    ● Any paper with a plagiarism score exceeding 15% will be automatically rejected.
    ● The study should not involve any animal subjects and should not contain any unethical
    practices.
    ● Informed consent form and study questionnaire/case study form (if used) must be
    available and produced on request
    ● All abstracts will be screened by a committee composed of senior faculty members.
    ● The screening committee will select the top abstracts that will be presented in the oral
    paper presentation.
    ● The decision made by the screening committee will be final and is not subject to
    reconsideration.
    ● The delegates whose abstracts have been selected for presentation will be sent a mail
    and will be given prior information.
    ● The presentation is expected to be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation (.ppt or
    .pptx file) not exceeding 18 slides.
    ● The Powerpoint presentation is to be submitted by the last date-____________.
    ● Each presenter will be given a total of 11 [7+4] minutes- 7 minutes for presenting
    their research and 4 minutes for answering questions from the judges and the audience.
    ● MODE OF PRESENTATION - Offline at Kakatiya Medical College
    E- certificates will be issued to all the selected candidates

    ● Upto 7 selected references may be added to the abstract in Vancouver style.

    ● The PDF containing the abstract should be renamed as
    "Name of the Participant_ Department _Year of study ( PGY1/ PGY2/ PGY3 )_ college
    name".
    TIME LIMIT: 11 mins (7 mins for presentation + 4 mins for Q and A session)
